At eThriftShop.com, we believe in clear, upfront, and transparent pricing. A Marketplace Fee — a percentage of the winning bid or "Buy Now" price — is charged to the winning bidder or buyer at the time of purchase. The Marketplace Fee is charged to the credit card you provide when placing a bid or selecting "Buy Now".

You will pay the listing's full purchase price directly to the seller, while eThriftShop.com collects a Marketplace Fee to power your eThriftShop.com experience, including secure buyer and seller functions, advertising, customer support, and new features and improvements.
 

 

Marketplace Fee Percent Breakdown:

• 5% on the price of the item up to $100
• 4% on the portion over $100 up to $5,000
• 3% on the portion over $5,000+

When you place a bid or select "Buy Now", you are entering into a binding agreement. If you win an Auction or make a purchase, you are legally required to complete the transaction.

Failure to pay the seller will result in:

• Forfeiture of the Marketplace Fee (non-refundable)

• Immediate suspension of your account

• Loss of future bidding, buying, and selling privileges on eThriftShop.com until the issue is resolved.

⚠️ All seller listing upgrades are non-refundable.

⚠️ If a seller includes a return policy with their listing, it is the seller's responsibility to manage any refunds for payments received from the buyer.  The Marketplace Fee on a listing with a return is non-refundable.

✅ Refund exception: If the seller is unable to fulfill the item purchased, you will receive a full refund of the Marketplace Fee.
